A. Annapurna

  1. Annapurna is a research scholar, pursuing PhD in Food & Nutritional Sciences, Acharya Nagarjuna University. She has qualified UGC – NET for Asst. Professor, has 13 years of experience as a teaching faculty. She published research papers, participated in poster presentations, presented papers at International Conferences and given guest lectures in colleges. She writes health articles, did YouTube videos and acts as a reviewer. She is adept at mentoring students –initiated YouTube channel, Food Doctor, published a booklet on Millets and helped in the direction of a street play ‘Importance of Millets’ by students. She addressed Anganwadi teachers in Poshan Pakwada 2023, ICDS Awareness Programme on ‘Importance of Millets in Daily diets’. Apart from her academic pursuits she is interested in literary writing and authored three books – poetry, short stories and children’s stories. She is currently working as Asst. Prof. (Food Science & Technology), working on her forthcoming books and is the Editor and Advisor of Muse India literary e-journal and Science Shore e-magazine. She received several accolades and awards. She was one of the delegates at the National Festival of Letters, 2023 and International Literary Festival – Unmesha (2023) conducted by Sahitya Akademi, Ministry of Culture.
